5. DmC: Devil May Cry

DmC Devil May Cry is an upcoming action game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Capcom for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be the first title in the series to be developed with such a drastic change to the semblance of what defined the series: Dante. Another change is that the game will be the result of a collaboration of three developers with the core development being handled by the English studio Ninja Theory, while the Japanese and American branches of Capcom will supervise and cooperate with the production creatively and logistically.

The game is set in a parallel universe in the Devil May Cry series. The story tells of a younger Dante and his journey through the fictitious Limbo City. A city that appears calm at first, but transforms into a twisted parody of itself with demons who frequently attempt to kill Dante. Dante will also be fighting against the ever-changing environment of the city as well.

6. Max Payne 3

Max Payne 3 is an upcoming video game and the third title in the Max Payne franchise set to be published by Rockstar Games for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This is Max as we've never seen him before, a few years older, more world-weary and cynical than ever. Since the last game, the press release states Max has left New York City behind and has drifted from bad to worse. The press release then goes on to say Max has been double-crossed in this new city and he is searching for the truth and a way out. The game will be set in São Paulo, Brazil, where Payne is working in the private security sector for a wealthy local family, set eight years after the events of the second game. Max Payne now works in executive protection for the wealthy Rodrigo Branco in the hopes of escaping the memories of his troubled past. When a street gang kidnaps Rodrigo’s wife, Max is pulled into a conspiracy of shadowy, warring factions threading every aspect of São Paulo society in a deadly web that threatens to engulf everyone and everything around him.

Previously announced as Metro 2034, the game is a sequel to Metro 2033, and although author Dmitry Glukhovsky has apparently been working with the developers, it bears no relevance to the book Metro 2034.
